Surfboard Ultra Fused Tapes & Reinforcements

Shapers Australia, through its specialised division "Shapers Composites Co.", researches, designs and manufactures in-house, premium Surfboard Rail Tapes and Reinforcement Composites.

Shapers are the proud leaders of surfboard reinforcements, partnering with major surfboard brands & distributors worldwide to deliver innovation & superior performance in both woven & non-woven composites. These products have many applications including Surfboard Rail Wraps, Tail Patches, Hit Patches & Stringer Style Centre Strips, adding strength (reinforcement) & managing surfboard flex patterns.

Unidirectional Surfboard Tapes are woven (providing exceptional strength & durability) using the following materials either exclusively or in a hybrid combination: Fibreglass (E-Glass & S-Glass), Carbon, Innegra, Basalt, Aramid & Shapers® exclusive Hi-Lite Composite. Shapers woven tapes are designed with workability in mind, featuring a minimal seam edge for flatter laminations.

Shapers Ultra Fused Surfboard Reinforcements: Non-Woven Surfboard Tapes & Reinforcements specialise in Carbon, Innegra, Basalt, Aramid & Shapers® exclusive Hi-Lite Composite. These products are branded as Shapers Ultra Fused Surfboard Composites & are popular for their ultra thin profile & wider profile surfboard tail patch options.
