Shapers Gauze have a premium grade and are highly effective in rapidly removing surfboard foam (polystyrene and polyurethane). The hook & loop backing allows quick removal and attachment of different grits through the Shaping process along with all the benefits offered by our wide range of blocks.
Shapers hook & loop compatible Gauze are custom made using Aluminium Oxide Abrasive Gauze. The Aluminium Oxide is the most desired form of the abrasive world wide, due to its ability to self-clean, longevity of life and hardness. Harder than other commonly used materials, aluminium oxide grit powder penetrates and cuts even the hardest metals and sintered carbide (making it an amazing cutting agent on material such as surfboard foam PU, EPS, XPS).
