The Shapers Finishing Block in Round has been designed and perfected in collaboration with master shaper Stuart Darcy of Darcy Surfboards. The Shapers Finishing Blocks are the perfect tool for Sanding, dusting or screening the foam, scratches or imperfections. The Round Fine Finishing Block was created to make a more comfortable fine finishing block that would reduce hand cramping, and tension through from the hand to the shoulder. The round shape allows for effective multi-directional sanding which cuts down time and adds longevity to the Shape Net Sanding sheets. A few words below from Darcy himself:
Shapers Shape Net Gauze is premium grade and highly effective in rapidly removing surfboard foam (polystyrene and polyurethane). Shapers FlexNet Gauze are custom made using Aluminum Oxide Abrasive Gauze. The Aluminum Oxide is the most desired form of abrasive world wide, due to its ability to self-clean, longevity of life and hardness. Harder than other commonly used materials, aluminum oxide grit powder penetrates and cuts even the hardest metals and sintered carbide (making it an amazing cutting agent on material such as surfboard foam PU, EPS, XPS).

Round Foam Fine Finish Solution Pack
I use the 180 grit to do heavy blending on concaves. I use the 240 or 320 to blend in rails when pulling the screen does not reach all the way over to the deck and bottom. It works super good for everything except the final finishing which I find easier to use a very soft foam and screen. On the deck and bottom is where it is the most useful when your shaping block does not have enough curve, even when you use the double stack soft block
