The Fish XL is based on the traditional fish but refined for larger surfers that want performance fish shapes. Developed for small point waves, fat beach breaks or surfers after a fun addition to their quiver. The goal of this little shape is to make a board that is both progressive and traditional by combining elements of the speed, trimming, free-flow and adding new age flavour that allows for rail-to-rail transition. When finished the board should produce a incredible speed and find pockets of speed on waves that a shortboard can't.
Standard Machine Shape:
Machine-shaped blanks are precisely cut using a custom surfboard shaping CNC machine. These blanks are fully shaped with detailed rails and bottom contours. However, fine finishing & shaping is still required to smooth out any cut lines left by the machine and refine the rails and cut the tail shape.
Shaping Option:
Have the board shaped into a finished design after machining. The board comes ready for glassing.
Fin Routing Option ( Must select Shaping option for this to be available):
Have Futures or FCSII Plugs routed into the board. Thruster or 5 Fin Setup Available.
