Channel creation with ease
Fantastic for cutting flutes, wings, channels, tight curves and apex's in fish tails. Much more gentle in cutting foam and balsa, leaving less clean up work than a regular surform. I have both the angled (triangle) and rounded, for me that is the perfect balance. So worth the money!

Ideal rasping system
These blades are the coarse grade. Great system. When used with the grain it will leave a relatively clean surface. Even against the grain it will cut rather than ripping or crushing. The blades allow you to see how much material you are taking off as you go. As well as where you are taking material. To help identify high spots.

Microplanes
Microplane blades are a step above the surform blades. They cut with a clean precision and don't tear the foam like the other blades. Perfect for shaping channels and swallow tails.
